Urja hosts 'Cancer Detection Camp' in Malviya Nagar, New Delhi, on International Women’s Day
On March 8, 2025, Urja commemorated International Women’s Day by organizing a 'Cancer Detection Camp' as part of its Sanjeevani program in Malviya Nagar, New Delhi. The event featured the presence of a state-of-the-art Mammography Van, which offered advanced screening facilities specifically for women in the community.
The initiative saw a positive turnout, with 25 women aged 40 and above participating in mammography tests. Furthermore, over 100 women were educated about the significance of cancer detection screenings and the critical role early diagnosis plays in prevention.
The event culminated in a warm and celebratory atmosphere, with participants enjoying snacks and juice, which encouraged interaction and helped strengthen the bonds within the community.
