ABOUT THE FOUNDATION
Urjavaran Foundation is a voluntary non profit NGO playing the role of a catalyst in bringing together various agencies within the Public and Private sectors, Chambers of Commerce and Industries, Educational Institutions, Consultants, Civic Forums and like minded individuals on to a common platform and stressing the importance of deploying different forms of sustainable energy for achieving the common national goal for the betterment of our country
We envisage awakening the ethic and moral responsibility of each individual toward Energy Conservation and Environmental Preservation.
We envisage a future to create an understanding among all sections of society about the efficient use of Energy, its Conservation and use of Renewable Energy Device at the household and industrial level that will lead to a more disciplined way of consuming energy, which in turn will limit the damage to the environment.
Mission
To spearhead several initiatives using various channels of communications to generate interest, mould public opinion, influence policy and create awareness about the issue through Seminars, Conferences, Workshops, Energy Audits, Exhibition and through publication of, ‘URJAVARAN’ magazine.
To propagate the Energy Conservation Act, 2001 and its implementation through aegis of URJAVARAN for the benefit of the Industries.
